Terms of Use
Using this website
This website is provided by TechGurus, an Australian AI and technology consultancy, for general information about our services. By using it you agree to these terms.
Information is general
Content on this site, including guides and articles, is general in nature and does not constitute professional, legal, financial or technical advice for your specific circumstances. You should get advice suited to your situation before acting.
Our AI tools
Tools on this site, including the AI Readiness Quiz, the AI Framing Tool and the Shadow AI Audit, produce automated, general guidance based on the answers you provide. They are a starting point for a conversation, not a diagnosis or a recommendation, and their output may be incomplete or wrong for your business. Verify anything important before relying on it.
Engagements
Any work we do for you is governed by a separate written agreement covering scope, price, timing, data handling and intellectual property. These website terms do not create a client engagement or any obligation on us to provide services.
How we use AI in our work
Where AI forms part of a service, we use closed, commercial AI models under business agreements that do not train on your data, and we keep a person accountable for the work. The specifics for your project, including which models are used and where data is processed, are set out in your engagement.
Intellectual property
All content on this site is owned by TechGurus unless stated otherwise. Work delivered under a client engagement, including code, models and documentation, is owned by the client as set out in that engagement.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for loss arising from reliance on information or tools on this website. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
